Spellbound Shawlette

The Spellbound Shawlette is fun crescent shaped shawl. It features lace and ribbing that work harmoniously together, one flowing smoothly into the other. The lace is easy to memorize, but keeps the knitter engaged in the knit. The ribbing creates a beautiful visual break in the body of the shawl.
This shawl is worked top-down in one piece and can easily be made larger.

PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Crescent shawl shape
- Worked from the top-down
- This shawl can easily be made larger by continuing Ribbing & Lace sections.

Materials:
US 6 (4 mm) in 36”/90cm or length preferred.

Notions:
- 2 - Stitch markers
- Darning needle

Finished size: 12.5” at widest depth x 48” at longest length / 33cm at widest depth x 123cm at longest length

Gauge: 18 sts x 35.5 rows = 4”/10cm with US 6 (4 mm) in lace stitch, blocked
18 sts x 40 rows = 4”/10cm with US 6 (4 mm) in rib stitch, blocked

Note: Gauge is not crucial when making this shawl, however, it will affect the yardage required.

Yarn:
438 yards/ 400 meters

Yarn used:
Golden Sheep Merino Fingering. (Fingering Weight; 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g; 438 yards/ 400 meters). 1 skein required. Color used: Mauve.
